Wisteria is a traditional Chinese plant, with purple symbolising good fortune and prosperity. In ancient times, purple pigment was exceptionally precious. The Chinese idiom “purple mist rising in the east” signifies that when clouds in the east appear purple, it brings good luck and auspiciousness.
Traditional Chinese painting emphasises artistic conception, created with brush and ink on rice paper, drawing inspiration from nature and infused with the artist's interpretation. This piece, measuring 140cm in height, depicts a harmonious scene of flora and fauna coexisting in nature. The large painting took the painter at least two weeks to finish. Displaying it at home for contemplation brings inner peace. All works in our store are selected from professional Chinese artists and hold significant collectable value.
